Inspired by the photo I posted last week, today I’m channeling Kate. You can call me duchess.
Once upon a time I worked at a New York City gallery. It was very brief, required many hours on the metro-north-subway-and-a-hike-through-the-’hood and ultimately was not everything I had dreamed it to be. But it was my first official job and a stepping stone today. While at said gallery, I totally immersed myself in everything art and the Chelsea scene.
And I became obsessed with an artist with a flare for one of my favorite animals (fish), Dirk Westphal. I was just thinking today about how I never got my hands on one of his prints (duh, they are slightly out of my price range) and how much I hoped he was still around. He is. Here are a few favorites.
A bracelet that supports one of my favorite places by one of my favorite bauble artists? Perfection! Chelsea over at Chelsea Gwynne has made a limited edition Hilltop Bracelet for Pomfret’s auction next month. They’ll be sold online starting April 6th and at the event on the 21st!
Dazee was spayed last week, so is on strict orders for leash walks only for the next fourteen days (aka. no ball playing, aka. torture). We took her for a chilly walk around JP as the sun was setting on Monday and snapped a few photos of the signs of spring!
This might be the most stunning winter wedding I have laid eyes on. And the best part about it is that I know the bride! A bestie of mine (aka. Lubies) spent two weekends ago in Sun Valley being a terrific bridesmaid to her big sister, Danielle, as she tied the knot with her adorable new husband, Luke! Everything looks magical – the snow, the spiffy vintage car, the pretty pretty bridesmaids, and a St. Patty’s day dance party. Here are a few snapshots – head over to Hillary Maybery’s blog for more!
I have to figure out how to make Hillary Maybery my new friend – her photography is breathtaking.
