The Prettier Party

There is an awkward window in Cary and my kitchen, which when adorned with Christmas baubles in mid-December seemed to awaken from its generally stark state.  However, now that it is time to take the baubles down I have been seeking an alternative decor to freshen up the rectangle but not look like we neglected to undress the apartment after the holidays.   Yesterday, I came across the perfect solution – hanging vases!  Crate and Barrel’s CB2 sell gorgeous glass vases that hang on a spunky ribbon or a clear thread and hold the simplest bud.  When hung together they make a gorgeous window arangement or “table” display as seen here.
