I am a very lucky girl.  Today, as I checked my mail, I discovered the prettiest surprise – a gorgeous Chelsea Gwynne lantern necklace!  These beautiful jewels in the cutest packaging have totally made my day.

Here’s a bit of an awkward self-photo – but look how delicate yet bold (I love the colors) my new necklace looks on!

Make sure you add Chelsea to your Google Reader to keep up with all of her new designs – she’s been busy with lots of fresh designs recently and hopefully you’ll find yourself the perfect treat!

I know how much you looove to blog, and I wanted to help you get to where you want to be with your blog by registering www.theprettierparty.com, for life. I’ve also gotten you a year of hosting. The new blog is built with WordPress, which is a different blog engine than Google, but is much more customizable and (apparently) is easy to learn to use. With it you can put ads on your site, accumulate subscribers and rank better in Google search results. This will give you more flexibility in building your blog to what you would ultimately like it to become, and as your blog becomes heavily trafficked you can sell advertising space to private companies and make a good amount of money this way. As they say, “The internet is your Oyster,” and I know that you can make this a valuable endeavor.

In order to make this happen, I had to recruit Chris to basically recreate your existing blog (hence my shady behavior) here on this domain. He has also offered to sit down with you and help you learn how to use the software, as well as how to market your website for optimal search engine traffic. As soon as we import your data from Blogspot, we can sign up an AdSense account and get ads on your site. The rest is up to you!

Sitting at a desk all day with excel sheets cluttering my desktop is not offering much in the way of creativity, so I’m establishing a new outlet. We all love parties, the chance to bring together family and friends, forge new relationships, and celebrate all the joys life brings. Whether as elaborate as a wedding or as intimate as a garden gathering, I want to focus on the little things that make us swoon, from stunning flowers to delicate place settings, the perfect gift or scrumptious cuisine.
